Capoeira Toque is a practice tool for learning traditional capoeira toques on the berimbau, atabaque, and pandeiro. Create rhythm patterns across instrument tracks, or use the built-in reference metronome. Load authentic toque presets, adjust the tempo, and practice hands-free with continuous playback.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I load a toque?

Open a track's preset selector and choose one of the built-in patterns. The berimbau track displays the associated toque name. Editing a pattern after loading a preset creates a custom variation.

Can each instrument use different subdivisions?

Yes. The tempo and bar length are shared across the session, while each track can have its own hits-per-beat subdivision. This allows each instrument to follow its own rhythmic structure.

Does playback continue when the screen turns off?

Yes. Audio playback continues while Capoeira Toque is running in the background. During playback, the screen remains awake so the visual playhead can stay visible.

Does Capoeira Toque play sound when the device is in silent mode?

Yes. Capoeira Toque uses the device's playback audio system, so audio can be heard even when the iPhone's silent mode switch is enabled.

Does Capoeira Toque collect my data?
